Greenwich Village PhotoTour

Beautiful townhouses, secondhand stores and multitudes of cafés and restaurants dominate the scene here.

Many homes have historical significance, especially in the literary field. You might want to pick up a guidebook to give you the most information.

Because there are several small parks and squares dotting Greenwich Village. There's no lack of convenient benches to rest those tired feet for a while.

After a day of walking, shopping, and staring, it's time for something to eat!
Greenwich Village is brimming with great places to eat for all tastes. See our dining section for great ideas. In the meantime, here are two eateries worth noting on this tour.

Head over to 91 7th Avenue South for an enjoyable time at Jekyll & Hyde, the eerily- themed restaurant is a fun place and might be less crowded than its larger brother on 57th Street.

If you're not in the mood for a spooky time but you're still hungry, have a real New York pizza at John's Pizzeria. This is the way pizza was meant to be served - thin, crisp crust fresh from a wood-burning oven.

You'll never go back to Domino's!

We hope you have enjoyed this PhotoTour of Greenwich Village.
Of course, nothing could replace being here in person.
If you're in New York City, get to "The Village"...it's worth it.
